Chef June's passion for cooking was evident from a young age as she played around in her mother's and grandmother's kitchen in a small town nestled in South Jersey. She was born in Neptune, NJ and raised in Burlington, NJ. Over time, her passion for cooking continued to blossom, shaping her into the accomplished chef she is today.

As she grew up, June journeyed across the globe, immersing herself in different culinary traditions while blending the rich flavors of Soul Food cuisine with influences from Asian, French, and Italian kitchens to develop her own unique style.

After competing in Favorite Top Chef sponsored by Chef Carla Hall, Chef June seized the opportunity to open and manage New Jersey's number 1 catering business. Learning from some of the most skilled chefs on Food Network and CLEO TV she refined her techniques and nuances and Dr. June's Kitchen was born.
